This Privacy Policy explains how DentConsult ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the DentConsult platform and mobile/web application (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

• Account details — name, email address, mobile number, professional role (dental clinic or consultant), and registration details.
• Professional information — clinic details, qualifications, and consultation-related information you provide.
• Transaction information — records of consultations, fees, and payments processed through our payment partner (Razorpay). We do not store your full card, bank, or UPI credentials.
• Usage and device data — app activity, device type, and log data used to operate and improve the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and provide the Service.
• To connect dental clinics with consultants and facilitate consultations.
• To process payments and payouts through our payment partner.
• To send service-related notifications (for example, job updates and payment confirmations).
• To maintain security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Payment Information

Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. Sensitive payment details (such as card numbers, bank account numbers, and UPI IDs used for KYC) are collected and handled directly by Razorpay under their own security and privacy standards. DentConsult does not see or store these credentials.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with: (a) our payment partner to process transactions; (b) the other party to a consultation, to the extent necessary to provide the Service; and (c) authorities where required by law.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and comply with our legal obligations.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the details below. You can also delete your account from within the app.

8. Children

The Service is intended for dental professionals and is not directed at children under 18.

We may update this Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this page.
